It is not your business to pass judgment on other people's reasons for participating in vandalism. People paint for different reasons. I don't recall him saying at any point that graffiti is the domain of the rich and elite alone. He simply desires to force his own one-sided view on a culture that is participated in by many differently-minded individuals. He suffers from the delusion that he is "right" and other people are "wrong". I do however, specifically recall him endorsing genital mutilation as a remedy for those who don't subscribe to his brand of profound ArtFaggotry. His violent predilections are disconcerting, to say the least.

What i did was get a friend learn graffiti with him (still learning) make sure he's trust worthy and just go bombing and chances are people will do the same.
I never said they were wrong, but lets look at reality for a minute, if we may. Plenty of cities have graffiti of both styles. The taggers get their shit painted over and ignored, the artists have their shit put on postcards and used to endorse the city as "vibrant" and "cultural". Shit, look at London, they put plexiglass over the art to protect it while going around with paint to cover the tagger shit. You never hear of a tagger making a living off scrawling their shit on walls, but the artists have an amazing amount of options for paying work that lets them survive doing what they enjoy doing. The taggers starve, the artists feed their family. #fucktaggers

Though you never explicitly stated "x is right and y is wrong", what you were in effect doing was invalidating the reasons many patrons of this website choose to participate in vandalism.
