Cheers man, I defo struggle with BG's. I think they always look better full force theme, or simple one colour. I'll defo take some spare tins and do a bit next time.
forget about the bg's, develop your letters further i say... even though you're not bad, i can definitely see that you're stuck somehow. that's what, the 10th time you paint the same outline with diff colors? hold on though, you might be building towards an identity. I completely understand that its important when you've got a big scene, but if you care to make it internationally, I highly recommend you practice different styles
I do subtle changes to the O/L all the time man. Letters per say, haven't changed in years. But I tweak them every time I paint. I don't disagree with what your saying regarding letter development, but don't agree with the fact that I'm stuck. Or rather I'm samey intentionally. Cheers though, will try to better what I do.
@kers one, love your stuff, letters always on point. @dangeri my un-needed 2 cents worth on this is advice is always nice, people wanna see what they wanna see. but overall its your painting, so do what YOU LIKE. if thats taking some pointers from people who wanna see more, do it. if its doin what your doin and you enjoy it, do it. enjoy what you do is what i say. and that goes to everyone!
