lol @ that bite accusation. news flash, unless your doing some sophisticated character in your tosses, or youve made up your own language/alphabet your throwie letters will have already been done. at this stage in the game, most of you, should be biting the fuck out of people. If you cant recreate shit that looks good, you wont be able to make shit up that looks good. THE KEY is you throw that shit away. you dont show it off like its yours, you dont paint it and call it yours, you throw that shit in the trash. Yall know how old timey masters of art become masters right? They copy great art work over and over again until their version looks amazing. then they throw that shit away, and do it to the next piece of art. Then when they learned the technique/style, they started going out and painting what they wanted to paint. My advice to those who post in here and in the bb thread who dont have a clue: Find pictures of some pieces from dudes killing the game IN YOUR AREA. Then draw their pieces using only bars. then when your done and yours looks like shit, throw it away and do it again. Then after a while, youll have a grasp on bar structure, flow, and technique. Then you can sit down, and start trying to construct your own letters with your own style Im in no way advocating sitting at your computer and biting letters, but these are throwies. Theyre a specific style, they can only be so different letter to letter, and nearly impossible to make original. Any one can post what they think their most original toss is in this thread, and I can find 10+ tosses on the web that will have an identical letter. TLDR VERSION: A lot of you need a lot of fuckin help with throwies and pieces. hell most of you need help with drawing all together. Original style is going to be impossible for those trying to start from scratch, its just not gonna happen. study the greats in your area
I don't bite tho. Also a throwie I like a straight letter you can't really make it a super unique style without it looking like a piece. I want to keep it simple but it is hard to make it unique.
But i can make it look better but I have a bad habit of rushing throwies. But thanks for picking that up.
Why do u post like 6 times in a row? And ur supposed to rush throwies u just look like u have Parkinson's or something
Good one keep the beef somewhere else. I know you are supposed to rush throwies but I rush really bad on paper. Like in 10 sec. In paint normally 2 min (including fill). I know.
Loving these throws man nice, simple, clean lines, especially the second a bit more styled out sik bro keep at it.
He got that style from Mr wiggles, its an out dated style that shit May have looked good in the eighties but not anymore
Man 80/90 were the golden age of everything in hip hop culture..Or am I just keeping it oldschool btw thx emohbe
I fucked up the A on this but still, fill looks better than normal... Hmu with crits, also bought some kobra so will have some throwies on walls up soon.
@Rib I feel you to an extent. Theres always more to do with letters, just have to have the skills and knowledge to execute them well. As for everyone in the toy forums, I 100% agree with looking into styles that work and building off them. @Jeht being left handed doesnt really serve as a good reason to be shaking like a nervous chihuahua. Stop making excuses, stop posting 5 times in a row and work on your control. Dont attempt to say every negative crit about you is "beef", your letters lack and youre getting crits for a reason. As for the last throw you posted, the bottom of the J carries substantially more weight than the top which makes it look worse than it is. @Burky First, Turban is 100% right. That second one isnt too shabby, definitely needs a few fixes to make it be able to be thrown up without people automatically thinking you're a toy. The left side of the B is awful, cut out the little extensions. The sharpened top of your letters looks odd with the varying heights as well. The biggest issue i see if consistency when it comes to sizing. If flows pretty well even with the mistakes you made, keep working.
