PHILES, the good news is, you've come 2 the right place to get constructive criticism. First thing's first: You'll notice that no one is gonna baby-talk you thru this, but no worries --- I'll even admit that, once upon a time, not so long ago, IDK gave me a non-sugar-coated crit on my throw, & after i looked at what he said & my pic, it made enough sense to try, and whattayaknow -- the 'tweak' he suggested feels better to draw. But now I'm back 2 the drawing board, cuz I've been crit'd into tweaking it agAIN since then the crit is what's important, all the other details of the reply, the not-so-friendly parts, ignore em.. crits is how u get better, catching feelings is not. THAT being said, what TRAVEL suggested about ur tag makes good sense. i don't know if you plan on tweaking it, but write PHILE over n over in cursive so you can master a good 'flow' in your handstyle. ur final tag doesn't hafta be cursive-like, but cursive IS all about the flow of letters, and they don't even teach it anymore. this might sound goofy, but a chisel-tip whiteboard marker on a whiteboard is a good way to get the 'feel' of flowing your handstyle. Referring to your 1st flick, putting these on paper 1st will give you the chance to get the 3D perspectives tight. If anyone here mentions practicing 'keyboard letters,' its because the structure of those letters are skinny in some parts, phat in other parts, like the vertical bar on your 'h,' the top half doesn't line-up with the lower half. the 2nd flick, i appreciate what you were doing with the drips & runs, esp in the skull. looks like you were going for a kinda 'flow' in the way your letters are, but simplifying the way they wave might make it pop more. the biggest crit i can give on the 3rd flick is just avoid making your throw slant like that. my 1st two throws (not that they were awesome or anything) were slanted, with each letter being lower than the last, and when i went to look at it the next day, it made me wanna buff it myself. ugh. i still hate em.
The people that don't get crits are the repeat offenders. That phile dudes been on here with the same shit and obviously didn't listen. We all have advice on his handstyle and he's still on the same shit. You get help when your not wasting people's time
I got more respect for toys because they're painting. Keep doing what you're doing and you'll get it eventually. My first few painted pieces sucked. My tag still sucks, I'm still learning, always learning. Stay up phile! Most cats that are going to shit on you on the Internet don't even paint and are just jealous that you fearless. That's you're path and if you think it's dope or a step in the right direction then fuck all the haters Also those kusto and eats straight letters and simples are steez, keep getting up fellas
too much going on with the L, that bottom bar... (do you write WOON now?) and I don think those serif extensions are working, They aren't consistent enough, imo, and don't really compliment the letter enough, but that N has some great potential. You have some nice flow going on with the LO and N. the second O is pretty stiff. Id suggest doing one of these with two of those first O's, that N and make that L look good like that N do.

I hear you there. I think my T sucks more, though. And, thanks guys, this is the best car I've ever hit, and my homie did most of the background, which really tied it together. EDIT: trying to work on strictly straights. If I can't hit those clean, what's the point in hitting pieces and shit?
