Fill ins are part of the art buddy. Gotta start somewhere. Looks pretty good to me^ keep it simple for starters. Throw in some bubbles or whatever and call it good. Just do some research and look around at other people's art for inspiration. There's no right or wrong way to do it really, it's all a matter of your color choices and what you can make look good.

If it bleeds then you have to do your outlines quicker and lighter. Otherwise, get a fineliner like a micron or something.
If you're going with the fat bottom look I feel like you should avoid that skinny middle and thin out the bars at the top more instead. Just an opinion
Salski, that Geko is a special type of ill reserved only for extra exclamation marks and unnecessary L's. Also, if you read it you should try to imagine my inflection rising as I say ill. But that Bender is pretty sweet as well, and also my favorite character ever, soooo.. Both of them. Keep it up, mane.
