Those are both dope Brask. I like the top one a lot but the B doesn't seem to have the same swag the rest of the letters do. Y'all tear this apart please
Hm I see what you're saying. The B does lack some flow...thanks. good looking out. And uhm...well. it's a start. I'm not the throwie expert but there's def a lot wrong with it. Here's what I notice. Ditch the negative space in the A. Ditch the halo. Ditch the circle around the eye of the E. Just make it a line or something. Keep the tongue, looks cool. Your S is whack, not proportional in the right places and looks like it overlaps itself funky because of the way you drew that top inside curve, just make that line and the right side bulge with the same line so you lose the overlap. Your K looks alright to me cept the legs coming off the side just sorta make it looks like it has downs. And there's nothing wrong with downs people...just saying. Also this is just a personal preference, so take it how you wanna. I'm not a fan when someone puts multiple style things like your $ in the a, then the * for the b, then the • in the e. I like them all consistent so it just reads better. Some of the more advanced throwies look dope with that kinda thing but you're just not at that level yet. No offense. I ain't either. That's why you always see my throwies with the same thing in those kinda of letters. Just a straight | maybe an !
@Brask Hahahahah I really enjoyed that crit thanks. Gonna apply all that today when I'm working on it. Appreciate it. @Erok I like that S and K a lot.
Since everyone seems to have troubles telling the difference between my A's and R's, I added one to the end of my throw for comparison
Thanks Bugs and Al @alcapwn A and R are really similar, try something different with the leg of the R. As for the E, try a lowercase E theyre easier for throws IMO @Dare The letter N or inspiration in general? It depends on the style youre wanting to be inspired by, Instagram is one of the underutilized apps for finding dope writers to learn a thing or 2 from. try looking in tags like #Throwsandtags or #Tagsandthrows
