I think that bottom one is pretty cool actually. Only things I'd change are the S, see how all your letters are really top heavy and the S has a very symmetrical look to it, weighted in the center? Well I'd make the top part of your S just as big as all the rest of your letters and the bottom part smaller like all the rest. If that makes sense? And also I don't think the little bar off the tail of the E is necessary, it's not adding anything really. You could probably just drop it and your hand would look better. All in all I really like that and I may take some inspiration from the way you weighted your letters
Esone: Try to give your S a more natural flow it looks too forced. Actually do that for all letters. Your making your M and K more sharper and not so rounded.
On my phone, Adobe Draw, I can link it to my Illustrator account too which is cool and pull it up on my Mac at work. I don't remember if I posted this or not but here's a non graffiti related portrait I made of one of our pitbulls using the same app
I think you're on to something man. I'd make all your letters the same height tho. Just my opinion. If you like the small o keep it. But that Z needs to come up a bit. And to balance the whole tag out I'd make the Z the same size as the o.
I put this on black books already but it's also kind of a hand style thing so I'll toss it in here too
