I guess I'm trippin cause I thought that was pretty clearly a G. Haven't been able to find any good resources for throws. Tags and Throws on YouTube has too many garbage writers and Instagram is full of 8 year olds. Any suggestions?

imo try getting sketchy with it,- it kinda looks forced maybe redraw the same throw quickly over and over in the same spot, you might eventually see a smooth flow in your lines.
the r looks like an A. study different types of throw up r's. keep going its not like you're sketching your throws.
Yeah you should never sketch a throw up because when you're working with a pencil you can just erase mistakes and you won't learn as well. If you do it in pen or something you'll be forced to look at the mistakes you've made so you can go back and fix it at the next attempt. A throw up should be done easy like your signature. I think your throw up style is dope but you should start free handing it.
Appreciate the crits. I usually sketch it out to get an idea of how I want the letters shaped, and then I start running through it faster without sketching it. Since I've posted that I've got to the point where it's not sketched and it looks more fluid.
Koda the blue is best and I kinda like the M add noneed, that is too pointy, you could cut grass with that B
Looks good man, but that little bump on the top of the T doesn't make sense to me. Not a big fan of the P, and besides it created a lot of negative space between the P and U. Great start though.
