Your throw there looks like goel to me. I'd fix that g up. And the x's doesn't look too great, try out a vertical line or a filled in do or something similar. That might help with the overall look. As for the piece, stick to basic keyboard letters for now my man. Draw out your bars just like you'd see them on a keyboard. That's the only way to get better when it comes to this. Walk before running my man. You'll get there, just gotta put the work in.

@BT I like the concept and the letters! It would look cool with a fill.
@Coal or is it Goal? Just listen to what BT said and work on simple letters for now. Also work on outlining so you can develop a steady hand.

 

Thanks puts! I'm gonna be redrawing it in my blackbook tonight and may be putting a fill in it. Any suggestions for color? I always like the color schemes you come up with.
And for your stuff, gotten a lot cleaner since I've last seen. Only thing that's glaring at me is the size and angle of the k being different than the other letters in the stuk piece. Letter structure is looking real nice though, hands are getting good too. Keep it up man.

 

Thanks for the crits bt. Trust me though, those hands on the stuk piece were absolute garbage haha. With colors I'm going to give you a challenge, try to do either a dark green to dark pink fade (Or a fade of any color). Or really challenge yourself and try to do a neochrome fill or a chrome fill.

Well I have one more suggestion for a fill, try to make it wavy.

 

Went with a chrome style fill. First time I've ever tried one so it got a little gross in some spots, but I think the effect works well enough.

I hear ya no need. I made it too thick. When I try chrome again I'll remember that
Noodled around with extensions and the whole "chip" effect thing. The g doesn't flow too well I don't think, but the rest are pretty okay. Let me know what extensions you guys see that work (if any) and what doesn't.

Overall- I think the clean bars are working for you, now it's just experimenting with bar width to get flow
