This thread is filled with a bunch of really big egos. I'm asking for honest advice and tips but all I get is insults. People like you are the reason this is a dying culture.
We are not trying to insult you. You have a lot of work to do thats all i can say. But just keep it simple.
Nzane gave you crits, everyone gets shit for what they do regardless of skill level. So don't be butthurt and start practicing. Want crits? Your tags arnt the best like nzane said. Do tags that are exactly like the letters on your keyboard tons of times. Everyone has to do it to learn the fundimentals so you do to. You can't do crazy amazing shit without years of practice first.
That's like asking an artist why they start to learn to draw cubes and spheres. Foundations. Structure. Mind-eye-hand coordination. Starting simple to understand the difference between "stylizing" and "sucking". Just take the advice given. Don't try to step up. This ain't a fight you can win. Your letters are too stiff with all the extra you're trying to do. Can't build a house without a foundation, and you can't build a tag without letters.
Tanz had a good answer, its the earliest learning phase. everybody gotta work for a good tag, you aint different. I like Rasko from russia, he tags really simple but it works while rest of his work is more complex
When you actually get good at doing them without "style". Style isn't something you add. It's something that happens on its own. Style is like your natural state. It's what develops when you hone your craft. It can take months, probably years before you can really think about it. Tagging is just as much an art as oil painting. You have to understand your foundations, and there's no one-size-fits-all time you can slap on that. Do you really wanna get good at this, or do you just want a cheap get-rich-quick way out? Because that's not going to work. It never works. Instead of asking us, get your pencil going on your paper and practice ten thousand times like NZANE suggested. That'll get you closer to your goal than making senseless demands.
I think you might have a little too much extra going on. If you just dropped the exclamation point, that'd probably clear up the disjointedness. Also, the lines look really thin to me.
Drawn on my phone because my camera is broken, so I can't take black book pics. Opinions? I think it's alright, not happy with the S though
Also, please appreciate it looks a lot shitter digitally because I'm fingering it with a touch screen
