Not exactly a crit and more of a question: why with the bricks? They seem to distract from the piece.
Nice work lse, getting better. And i like the name "Shock" Is there all ready a guy who writes this who is well known?
i dont want to get in a beef with anyone, but what you said is a little hypocritical. By the looks of it you yourself haven't evolved your style, if you are painting for 4 years (which I dont doubt) you should be doing better pieces. don't jump on people about things you too are a culprit of...
Look suic, i say again work on your hand style. And tick to straight letters i don't like how your letter go really skinny. And if you look at some of loons work, he can produce some good stuff. Tho i agree you should not bring other artists down. So please just start working on your tags. Because then it will be easier to piece.
I dont piece anything with tags, it's the worst way to go about it, I will try to make my letters more balanced though
Your U looks like an L, again. C looks bad. The letters being in 2 pieces is not working. Again, work on simple block letters until you get letter structure down.
I would care about the u looking like an L but it's as irrelevant as noting it. Yeah I guess the c is out of place. I won't post pieces with simple letter structures here, it's simple therefore should be understood after a few months of doing it and not need any more criticisms on it. You see, critiques have to match the context of the subject in matter, I'm trying to approach letters in a different way, something that should have been understood from my previous posts. So it's better if you for example told me where my mistakes where in the c for example...looking at it its too thin, and the lower splited part shouldn't have had so much tilt.
dude your talking all big here but got nothing. He told you this doesnt work, and not because of the splitting of the letters doesnt work, but because you are not able to do legit straight letters. Thats why your "attempts" at any kind of style will look whack. Do 1000 straight pieces and then try to add style. I doubt you can write a word for it to look like on a billboard or even a normal textbook. No hate, but dont talk the talk if you cant walk the walk homie!
