Tryna find different ways to do bubbles for "DOBO" throw-ups and a tag-style for lowercase "dobo". here's throw-up to give y'all an idea. Any sketches to help guide me in the right direction will be appreciated.
Just gonna throw out there that the asterisk as the hole of the D makes it look like an anus. The squirts make that a little more out there. If that's what you're going for, good job? I find with bubble letters, it helps to be able to draw circles and spheres and to be able to connect them in your mind. That's more of my "foundations of art" side talking, though. Still, it doesn't hurt to get the arm motions down for "perfect" circles to enhance what you have. Our joints are actually quite made for circles, as in, the wrist naturally curves, as does the shoulder and elbow...ugh, mind my rambling. Here's something of a guide you can try for lowercase. See if you can work on getting good curves out of it; mine are pretty bleh right now. Of course, once you work with curves for a while, you can start squishing and expanding some of them.
