get rid of that shit sticking out on the P at the bottom. Try putting it sticking out behind the P maybe and meet half way with the one on the R

Keep your X's only rounded at the top and bottoms, straighten out the sides and it won't look ridiculous. You'd have to modify the other letters to fit the style too. Look at this
    apreview.ibb.co_jpOM6w_Drawing.png
Here's an example throw up i did for you, feel free to bomb with this one.

    apreview_ibb_co_iUdztb_Drawing_1_png__.png
Notice how they all have similar, uniform, balanced tops and bottoms.

    apreview.ibb.co_cHUTmw_Drawing_2.png
They all (except the X) have the same width, and space available inside the letters making it even.

    apreview.ibb.co_fEBKtb_Drawing_3.png
the lines that distinguish the letters are slanted in the same direction, angle, same way. (not very well, because im drawing with a mouse)

    apreview.ibb.co_bT2sDb_Drawing_4.png
The only thing that will distinguish the last letter as an X are the very small notches circled up above. Don't put too much space between the one next to the A or it will make everything unbalanced, (not similar) and art loves balance. There are few negative spaces in this throwup. Don't add a long line at the bottom of the X, like we did in A. Make it like a nutsack with two dicks sprouting from the top. (NO HOMO)

    apreview.ibb.co_gvHZtb_Drawing_5.png
These lines I circled are what make an X an X. If you don't have these lines straightened, then it's going to be pretty hard to get an X, or even a decent looking one.

Don't add those pointed tips to the letters. You're not ready for it. Stick to the basics because it will give you a stronger foundation and look cleaner, more experienced than what you were doing. Good luck and have fun!

Yeah I'd say go simpler.try to straighten out(not fully) some of that. Keep working on it maybe try with just a pen no fill.

Evrything skrit said and NO double outline. The blue and silver outlines are a NO. 1 outline is more then enough in a throwie.

Yo Skrit and bugs, more this kind of straight? Or was it just supposed to be like slightly less? What's good aimage.ibb.co_dg1BTb_0127182355.jpg

Man, all the actual throwie pictures you posted have been really good for your skill level. I'm surprised. That throwup looks small as heck though

Keep it simple. Keep the bottom of the letters lined up and the top of the letters the same height. Don't add style because throwups are meant to be done quick, easy, and you're simply not ready for it. No stupid creases in the letters, no arrows pointing out, etc. Keep the letters rounded to save time. (Straight lines means you have to focus more while painting, rounded out lines don't require precision) Also you want to remove any negative space in a throwup. Negative space means..
    asketch.io_render_sk_bf012fef8b537429fae3a8dbc80e9db7.jpeg
    The red represents negative space.
You want to eliminate as much negative space as you can because it speeds up the painting time.

Save any styles you want to try out for practicing pieces. Always keep throwups simple.

Thanks! And this one is probably head high. Not huge, but the wall is kind of deceiving.
