i dont think any legitimate graffiti artist or any artist, for that matter, would say that bansky is an artist in the strict sense. let’s face it, anyone can photoshop, stencil, and push a cap down on a can of spray paint. it’s memetic social commentary. period. take away social media and banksy disappears like all pop cultural artists do. Banksy did shit on Robbo quite bad at the start of their beef. He did eventually try and correct himself though and when Robbo got sentenced one time and had a huge fine as part of his conviction Banksy tried to give him a piece of his work to sell at auction to help pay the fine, but Robbo wouldnt take it. Hes also done an rip mural to robbo although it is a bit shit. Banksy has a couple people with him and they sometimes dress like workmen (yellow vest, hard hat etc) so they know how to blend in/fool folks when they want to And he was originally a graffiti writer Ive got a pic I took of the Banksy/Robbo rat somewhere....I'll go.have a look
