I was thinking of something similar earlier this week while killing time at my job lol. Doing 3 letter combos but they have to be in order like abc, klm, stu, like that. Each week pick a new 3 letter combo each week

You guys should check out the Write The Username Above Name forum. Some one do the name of the last person to leave a post, then the next person to post would do the name of that person. It was a cool thread for awhile.

Hope this is ok, the "o" is the sun. If not I'll draw another one. No worry I just like the idea. 20190701_223935~2.jpg

i like it, but i doubt anyone would read it as "omake" without knowing the context. it totally looks like "make" with a cool background to me.
still, i think you're on right the track dude, this looks much better than your previous piece imo. these little holes in the 3d are very inspiring, adds a little dimension to it.

there's not much time left. don't delete this piece if you decide to make another one, i'll sort shit out when voting starts.

Thanks the main point of this piece was to practice my blending. I'll leave it for now and see what happens. Either way I don't care to much for winning at the moment I know I still got ways to go before I can compete with the big dogs in this thread but I'm not gonna stop trying that's for sure.

    Thanks for the support.

Thanks. personal I see some spots I think I could do better. still learning the colorless blender and the darker color was harder to blend out. But like they say, you are your worst critic.

Layer lightest to darkest . With markers that bleed at least that's what I do . .And vice versa for paints . Darks first then the lights

I use marker to lay down the base and then use prisma color pencils to shade and blend. You still want to go light to dark like elbow said.

I did go from light to dark cuz I thought the same thing but for some reason came out worse then when I was practicing to see what colors I wanted to blend and I did it dark to light and looked like a clean blend. Maybe I just need more practice. I'll give those color pencils a try I got prismas they my fav color pencils. I'm trying to get them markers to but they kind of a steep price to pay for me at the moment.

Your blending and shit is fine. Focus on your lettering consistency. Mainly your angles and bar thicknesses. The Colouring part is easy when you keep it simple like that. It’s simple but a two or 3 colour fade with some proper highlights and a precision outline is all you need to make something really pop. But your main focus should be on what I mentioned. Above all else

I have some of the pisma markers but I dont think they are worth the money!! If you decide to buy some nice markers, I prefer the Molotow.

You should be capable of burning with crayolas. If you arent, buying fancy artists markers is a waste. Unless you’ve got throw away money then fuck it go for it
