I have been writing and developing my style for close to a year now. I don't do pieces, I do holos, throws and tags in that order. I am not an artist, I don't plan on doing art, I like to bomb so having a short name suits me. My style is pretty piss poor still, but it has developed a lot since I first started. I get up frequently enough, but have been considering a name change because it is common and has been used by multiple(at least one that I can find) other graffiti artists. I have been playing around with some other aliases but nothing really feels right to write. Should I keep writing my alias or switch early on? What are the rules for using a name? Is it common for people to change their names? - A toy looking for some guidance
I tried changing 2 times ,but would always go back to my original letters. I would suggest keeping your same name and just being patient. You will see your style evolve overtime and it will be worth it. Keep practicing. The only time I would suggest changing it is if you picked a really long name that can be harder in situations where you need to be quick.
