Keep practicing with the brush pens!! They take a while to get really comfortable with but once you get the hang of them they are great because you can do pretty much any weight of line without having to switch markers:)

Thanks, I love them! I've practiced with them for brush lettering in calligraphy but trying flat strokes and more squared off edges for this one. I love trying new tequniques with the brush pens though, you have so much freedom.

They are definitely really jazzy when using them with handstyles. I've been doing the same but have not found a place I like yet

For capitals N i like to make the top of the N's base slightly longer then the bottom N's base that the first bar for the second N bar the bottom base of N will be sligtly longer. So something like this

Compared to your other zoid tries this one is really fucking dope, keep up that stylish simples.

Good call on that N, definitely would add more dynamic flow that way.

Also thanks for the kind words! Will keep the style always evolving and improving.

Also if your going to do a capital ‘N’ you may as well do the whole name or word in capital letters also a lot of the time if your doing simples the bars a generally straight not bent :) the bend in your capital N ruins it in my opinion

edit: Wintr your simples look good but the bar widths on the inside of your W (bars are small) don’t match the rest of the letters in terms of size but the last one is probably most consistent

Practiced some simples for a few days and paid mind to cleaner lines, cleaner letter structure, and more evenly spaced gaps. Throwing in some character sketches for the hell of it.

Any advice on the throwie? Aside from the lines being messy (did this one a while back). Looking for general advice for throws + I'm hating on that w xP

If you're using gopro rn I fucks with. You should add a music file so it's clear rather than In the background G. Feel me?

From a production standpoint stationary and steady always win, especially if you are flipping through pages. But I do like the GoPro stuff if you are doing live drawing. End of the day that kind of stuff is all preference because you can make either work well. If you GoPro though, make sure steady the camera in post production.

If you need help getting started in any of that kind of stuff give me a holler and I'll point you in the right direction.
