Amazingly, my so called "fundamentals" have always progressed when I regularly blackbook, without me even noticing. I feel as though they go hand in hand, making a blackbook page look good aesthetically, and making a canvas or "non graffiti" art piece look good. Only difference might be content. But the level of skill is always elevating.

I totally agree with what you're saying. I'm just hoping to apply those fundamentals so I can understand and have more control over whatever it is i'm doing, not only in graffiti but in different areas as well.
