I was out and about the other day and realized that the coronavirus has really shut people in. There’s no one watching in a lot of places that would have once been packed. I got a dozen wheatpastes up in a normally high traffic area. Of the few people out, no one wanted to stick around and ask what I was up to. Sorry, no pictures at this moment. I know I’m very new here, but I’ve been graffitiing for a while. I think this is a potential golden age of graffiti opportunity that’s being overlooked. Also: Wash your hands and cover your mouth when you cough.
Happened to me also security grabbed me and I started coughing and he let me go. I'm in hospital rn next tot this really angry dude with paralysed legs
It does seem like a pretty good opportunity, I’ve been thinking the same thing. I’ve been inactive on the streets for years because of work etc and prioritising but I feel like I may make a return soon.... especially with no one looking twice at people wearing face masks. Throw a cap on along with that and you’re incognito as fuck haha
Really I don't think many here would overlook this opportunity.. Shit, this is the greatest opportunity to get up, not just because of the Virus, but because of the idea of painting the city hard, now that such global crisis emerges. stay save
If you do get popped, and are in jail you're fucked if there are infected inmates there in your jail lol.
kinda slefish too, cause all the people with organ tranplants, cancer, diabetus, nerve dieseases, any kind of std, any person on corticosteroid, there so much shit that lowers your immunity some might have have triple combo of shit immunity, thats why they ask you to stay inside lol. the people with blessed with functioning immune system talk buck. hella selfish ibuprofen
It is prime time out there, but I'm not rolling out. Besides being too old, my misses has a compromised immune system due to leukemia. So home I sit and wait to see who hits up my city. So if you hitting the streets be safe and get up.
On a side note. I hope you guys are safe out there. Police already think all graffiti is gang related and not freedom of expression, but these curfews, lock downs, and stay at home orders will give police the ability to stop nearly anyone outside. So be careful. Leave the books at home. Be cautious when you go out. Don't get caught. Stay safe,
I was thinking the same thing, if you walk around town there is almost no one and everyone is focused on social distance and is so melancholy they dont even look at you.
