Lol yep, sucks to be eager here. People will be here nonstop for a few days then silence for a week or 2. Did this one offhand but I like the direction. Any ideas on how to refine it, especially the Z and d
also i know this guy gets a lot of hate(cope2), but his video is actually really helpful if you pay attention. \
Try working on your basic letter shapes before you go for the 3D shit. Straighten your Z up like the Z on a regular keyboard. I been practicing my bars.
Liked watching this go from sketch to biro. Think the bottom bar of the L might look better if it was more parallel to the other bars going the same way. -overlapping pieces is a toy mistake, here I display this.
Sometimes it’s better to run with it than fix the mistake. More time you end up causing more mistakes trying to fix one.
Straight letter composition I think I may have hidden the 'i' too much, should I reverse the fg/bg letters and have Z&i on top?
Thanks man, been practicing my Z's individually. Trying to get my simples looking nice for each individual letter, then looking good together, then adding some style. I've stopped trying to push style past my understanding of form and flow and working back to basics. Still getting wacky on fills though. Can't take my colors away
