I'm completely new to this, here are some attempts at making a tag (text reads "Pullet"). Any criticism is greatly appreciated
the only criticism I have for this that probably shouldn't be taken seriously (since I'm new to this too) is that on the tags on the top left part of the page with the t right hand bit extending over the tag is kinda unnecessary and make the tag "off" in a way. everything else looks clean and great.
try starting out with simple handwriting with all the letters being the same height. keep the tops, middles and bottoms consistent. check out "the artist block"on youtube. he can help you with tags and anything else graffiti.
Find a chisel tip and get funky with it. My handstyles got a lot better when I stopped trying as hard. Just be real loose about and if you there's only one letter you liked in the tag, keep that letter and start over with the rest. Also, I bought a dry erase board because I was burning through sketchbooks with nothing but shit. Save a tree stand try it out
Get a roll of paint paper that they would use for drop cloth for painting interior walls, and tape it to the top of the door...but slide the roll of paper in between the floor and the door and you have a constant roll of paper, just when you fill it up RIP it off and tape up more...just thought of this lol
I like it, maybe don't think too much in your handwriting and write in 1 block then think about connecting the letters with the least amount of effort, leave out everything that looks weird and special at the beginning. Gl
