Ya'll know what it is? Outside of this website graffiti has gotten wayyy better since 2005... It's just that this website had majorly better pics around the time... meaning there were better writers around on here then, mainly... 2005 isn't the standard honestly. new graffiti (im talking this year/last year) is way more advanced than 2005 and below. and better.

Niggas just sore, but the decline is indicative of the climate for graffiti... On the internet...

Ive been doing graff since the early 90's and I can easily say the quality of graff now, is significantly better than it was.. EVER.. I do believe the advanced technology and quality of paint materials is a clear factor. Not to mention that classically trained artists are now also doing street/ urban art which has catapulted it to what we see today.

Having that said... The problem with the internet is that folks are able to hide behind their screens. Lots of graffiti roots stem from "respect". If you failed to respect someone on a wall there were consequences and since writers were typically local, those who were disrespecting were sought out. Also, there is money in graff now. Folks have learned that they can leave the "ra-ra" behind and chase the money instead, those same people have little or no time and patience for silly keyboard disruptors/ posers.

    Tattoo industry.
Since the tattoo industry blew up in the late 90's early 00's and became a viable career path allot of talented people who would have gone into more traditional fields like illustration ended up being part of the whole tattoo, skateboard, graffiti art paradigm instead.

90s graffiti was grimy, on the streets all day, crews, more vandal than art. I dont see bombing on the street like it used to be. Idk im not in my teens and 20s anymore, dont live in the city anymore and it seems like graffiti as I knew it is on its deathbed. Kids dont want to be out in the cold, toes frozen, dealing with homeless mental people, getting pink eye in tunnels and shit. Now its all nice and fancy with legal walls done by people with art degrees. Fuck being cute. Fuck your colors. 2021 doesnt know shit about the 90s.

Yall are over thinking this though .. I was just telling Pesk to shut fuck up about the toy shit bc hes not posting pics on here. Either help the thread or shut the fuck up. Why even come back to visit this thread in the first place like some ex love scorned stalker. All toys on here .. then go about your life.

Bottom line ... post your stuff and help this thread or shut the fuck about it and go on your way. Sitting on the sidelines calling everyone toy is toy.

Funny how emotional people get when u bring up the word "toy", those with insecurities are the ones who get offended.
Anyways graff is a lifestyle not a hobby or career atleast for me. Kudos to you if youre getting paid to do graff ill be the one to destroy ur mural once you go to bed. Peace and fuk yu.

Honestly feel angry when I see murals... Strong urges to crunch a pussy ass mural with wack writing and graff(throw ups), not even with graff I'll deadass rack bucket paint and throw that shit on it lol fuck street art. Some wack street art shit or some toy shit doesn't even deserve the paint wasted coming back over it
