I think I’m going to go old school zephyr style … hopefully I add the 3D and do something at the bottom
Voting for the SOME battle... Andy B: Caron: Classic: Satire: You do NOT need to have entered the battle to vote... Voting ends July 31st.
In the process of trying to move, been mad busy. That and my kids keep me occupied most often. Will try to keep up though, fiendin for some burners and blackbooks
Ouch. This one was slim, missed out on your piece Theillfunkfreaka. Still that sketch looks dope. But I can't really decide. Classic and Caron are both straight up hardcore. If I become the tie breaker vote let me know later.
Caron for me. I’d love to see some black/dark background to frame/trap the lighter color letters. Andy funky e, I’d really recommend taking a sharpie or black marker to your outlines to make it pop
@caron_400 won the battle... pick the next word, changing one letter from "SOME." You can also rearrange the letters.
New Word is Meas, as in Big Meas 26mfg, check him out. He's a tattooer/writer from Ohio, if I'm not mistaken.
Meas, oh yeah its hella sloppy on second look lmfao My homie Sloth wanted to throw down on this battle too, here's there entry.
The sketch was alright, but then I added color. One marker dried out, tried another and it kept getting worse. There ended up being so much wrong with this one. Lesson learned tho and onto the next one.
I come across similar situations almost everytime I draw. My remedy, always test the markers on a scrap paper first. Then when a marker you were hoping to use is too dead to fill what's needed, you'll know before your piece gets ruined. Another remedy, start throwing in little bits of dead markers all over the piece. Dying markers make for good tie die or mosaic fills. Just my two cents. For what you explained, I never wouldve guessed that by looking at the piece. Well done
