i didnt think of that but i dont believe it is because if you look at the first one on the right bar their is a wood plank or something the guy had to paint over which would cause that yellow line to have some form of shadow.
look at the 2nd 3rd n 4th fr8 they have the yellow things... its like on yer bikes wen u have those stupid reflectors on them but this time its on the trains...
Just standard reflective tape. Most cars, even old ones have them, most often in a round circular form however after years of use without washing most are covered in dirt and grime. Cars with the new stuff have most likely been serviced recently hence tape applied while there.
wow. you really do learn something new everyday. and for my next question. whats the purpose of those small pieces of plywood that you seen in random places on freights?
If you are benching you basically want to see box's, things you don't want to see 1) Intermodals 2) tanker trains 3) hoppers 4) autorack trains ( at least 1 of 4 can be completely clean) Nothing more dissapointing than catching only one train in an afternoon and its all one of those first three types of cars.
honestly if you had a choice of a nice flat serface or won of those there is a reason people rarely paint them why start now
ha i wrote this for one of my classes i thaught this was relevant its called "13 O'Clock" There are times at night when i cant sleep. when everything is quiet a creepy silence. when i analyze all the sensless thaughts. a horn blows far off it calms me. it sooths me as an infant, an infant being lulled to sleep every night by my mother. the wheels were the pulse that gave the night character. a stampeed of iron horses romping somewhere near, a huge starving belly, rolling thunder. TRUTH, i always felt compforted by these Abstract songs. it really does cool my blood. i can never stop thinking at night. my thaughts run on like a sixth graders essay,an essay without punctuation, spaces. TRIANS pause the insanity, they help me sleep.
