I'm from the 712 area. that's Iowa to you. We've had Winds of Plague, Too Pure to Die, Every New Day, A Day to Remember, Bleeding Through etc come through. Yeah. It's good down here. Holy shit, how did I miss this thread? Wow, I've been into hardcore for like 5 years now and am in 3 hardcore bands. Its my life. All I think about is writing music and sketching up new designs. Thats awsome that there are more people like me here. I kinda felt like the only one!

Too Pure needed to borrow my tuner to record because they came 4 hours from Iowa and didn't bring one I found that funny. They are kind of jerks tho...they owed him $500+ and didn't pay him for months. I just thought I should share that since we were kinda on the topic of TPTD.
Although I am not edge...I listen mostly to 80's straight edge hardcore. I dont claim edge, but i follow all of its tenants. I just like that style of hardcore the most. Chain of Strength, SSD, Gorilla Biscuits, Negative Approach, Side by Side, ect.
