allrite i dont usually do this, buit im in a good mood because its so nice out. allrite man, first of all stick to the 2 simple ones in the middle, the other two are far to advanced(not in a good way) you need to develop some letters before tryinf anything as wild as that. Stick to copying SIK over and over again, in exactly that font, no add ons or bubbles or anything like that, once you can do that nice and staright and clean, try angling the letters, kind of like italics, trying to keep the letters as consistent as possible, this will help you to develop a sense of style, and by keeping the letters the same font or style, you will help pull the whole piece together. trust me on this one. once youve mastered that, you can try adding some 3d to your letter and experimenting with that. ONce you feel youve mastered simple letters, which should take a while, this isnt a one day process, then you can begin to change your letters, adding lines, blocks, and so forth. hope this helped man, if you follow this youll get more respect then with waht youre doing rite now. there's nothing wrong with a simple letter structure if you can still make it look sick. i think buddy pulled it off allright. its just a sketch... add some colours, and dimension and its a different story. everybody needs constructive feedback, but for you to say his style is un-evolved, and boast 10 years as a writer is kinda lame. unless you show us something better...

[/b][/quote] i've seen it done... not very complicated.. just takes a while.. fill first, then do color fades.. 3-d.. outline.. and so on.. unless you got some mad comtrol and you do the outline first and the fills last... check out some shit on tatscru.com.. that shi's intricate (spelling?)
