actually its not just a rock, granite is composed of feldspar and quartz and other minerals, created from magma deep inside the earth and its cooled slowly under huge amounts of pressure.. so toxus depending on how you found it it could be millions of years old and the volcano wence it came from could be on the other side of the world..
