dont over lap your letters like that well i mean do it if you want, but i think it would look better with out it though and try and make your letter width more parrellel not all squigly

yea bro seriously...its obvious wut it says...if u dont no how to give crits then dont that e is played out alot of people use them...yea it is a good start tho..make the O round...if u wer 2 do it on a wall...ur arm would just flow perfectly 2 do the O bring the v closer to the e...and make it look more like a v...i no its hard...because it will always look like a U also if ur guna make a drop shadow make it go all the way under the letters..

not badwhat did u use the colors look nice for cardboard i would get rid of the bottom flair on the h it looks like an e and get rid of those bits on the h too get rid of the flair on the bottom of the t....make the a bigger and give the letters some room i like that it has potential to be hott
Yes actually, simple as in New Roman.... Sounds Boring doesn't it? Still want to bust some wild shit don't you? Although the piece has an overall nice feel, and I agree with Aga Trance that there's deffinately potential there, you can look at it and see you've missed a couple steps in your evolution. The letters look pretty good when put together as an overall piece, but to make a truly fresh piece, each letter should be able to stand on it's own and look dope. Break these letters down and they're pretty rubbish. This style seems more like something you fell upon and it almost worked rather than something you developed. No hard feelings. It's just a helpful crit. Like I said, there IS potential there. It's the most repeated critique in the toy thread. It's a mantra alot of people repeat faithfully without really knowing why, but it is a true essential. Go simple. Not simple graffitti even. Just simple lettering. You've got lessons to learn by doing that boring shit first, repeatedly.You can't bust a wild letter succesfully, if you can't bust it regular first, and you can't bust it wild, without fully understanding it's normal range of motion, it's basic flow. From there, you gradually tweek it, bit by bit, over time, much later, you'll have a wildstyle, or better, a unique signature style of your own (favorite example- Runci). I'm no master wildstyler myself, but over time, I've figured out some of what we're trying to achieve in here and why, and when the turnover of new members in here get's large, I try to help explain things I've picked up so far, especially this, cuzz I think deep down, alot of people wonder why this is nessecary.
