Deactivators can be set off by rubbing the product you want to steal with a powerful magnet. This erases the data on it so it doesnt get read as being stolen. Problem with this is finding a magnet big enough and strong. Im guessing something you could rip out of an old speaker.

most companys probabley spend 25 cents to make those cans (depending on the company.) and really all the rest is profit. So I doubt the price will increase or they wont be going out of business even if they lose, 200 cans a week. Thats only 50 dollars for 200 cans. :\ to concern the people worried about that sort of thing.
Barcodes set off alarms its on paint i baught some today at a self check out and didnt rub it on deactivator and it went off just cut off barcode

well, usually Walmart & kmart and other stores dont have sensors on things under i think its like 8$... It might be 4$ though, So If you are stealing any item that is under 4$-8$ the sensors arent going to go off. And if they do, make sure you go out the door with a large crowd, Or a family or something with alot of bags.. So you keep walking and they will probably stop and noones gonna say shit to you. but if you really want cans cheap, for like a dollar and shit. Go to a Warehouse kinda thing like uhm.. Ollys or whatever, where they have like ALL sorts of items real cheap.. And usually they will have a hardwear section with a bunch of cans with like dents or discontinued colors.. I found a Samon Pink color there that was in one of these like Krylon like Mini cans, that i had never seen before. Racked that & some caps mad easy. cause the shits like 1$ anyways.

theres this place by my house called the bassment its a music store but they sell graff supplie almost everything but actual paint cans and alot of the time on the weekends they go in the back and sketch or sumthin and leave the door open so you have to call them out to uy shit and my friend thinks we should just grab a bunch of shit and leave one day but i think that sicne they're supplying the neighborhood with shit it would be fucked up to do that specially cuz its local and indy owned so basically im asking should we do it or not

ive never stolen from walmart. my friend worked there and he said they have crazy ass secret shoppers. and the home depot over here is suppost to have up to 6 of them at a time.
Ok guys. first off those little bubbly barcode stickers are what sets off the alarms. If you're at wal mart, just keep walking out if they go off and if you feel you are being tailed, you probably are. They have undercover security that follows people around and they will spy on you any way they can, even through the shelves. They're the craziest security ever. But don't worry they aren't so bad, sometimes I have fun with them and pretend I'm stealing something and make them run after me a few blocks before they give up. As for racking from michaels, they don't have those barcodes in the paint cans so stop being paranoid. And for the kid who asked about prismas, depending on where you're stealing from (I get mine from michaels), just stick a case under your arm and walk out the door. That's what I did anyways. Or if you're in canada like me, rack all your paint from michaels. Take a shopping cart and fill it right to the brim with paint (if you're daring enough), or stuff a few cans in your pockets. Since michales is US owned they can't charge you if you get busted, but the cops sure can so if you get caught then run. They usually won't chase you from there and if they do, give em a run for their money. Most people don't know that trick, so feel free to exploit it.
