Saw that coming. If you read my post I said it was kind a of wildstyle. Not block letters but more curvy. If you have seen my previous work I've been doing blocks for awhile and I have my 3d down(atleast I think so). Im just trying to progress by doing some add ons and making the letters a bit more curvy. And again, does anyone have any suggestions on how to improve without trying to tell me what wildstyle is? yo man, start simple. dont look at others shit and get "inspiration" cause most of the time youll just end up bitin...start with simples and block letters and work your way up...and im tellin ya, just outline for now with pencil/pen, dont worry about colorin in
I've done blocks and bubbles and got bored of them, was told to do that by some guy ma mum knows and he sed i mite aswell go onto something else. Thanks for tips though. This picture is probably better used my fone for the other one this ones from ma scanner:
NOOOOO. do block letters. that "style" is baaad. the proportions are way off. like waaaay off. you just dont have a feel for how to do that yet. which means you need to do block letters. YA HEARDDD?! capo-that pretty good. it could be better overall but that'll just come with some time. the a, the little bottoms things don't quite look right. you can keep them but you need to tweak em some. if your not hugely attached to them then just drop em. the p, the little thing on the bottom could make it look like an e, i know it says capo so i know its a p, just a headsup. i'm gonna post a few sketches when i find my camera
But blocks are sooooooooooooooooooooo boring if ya can proove me wrong by some pictures from another artist that luk off the huk then ill do them again.
just start adding small accents to your blocked letters. that should make it a little more interesting. just keep it clean and proportionate (sic?) block letters are actually pretty fun once you start experimenting. throwing a round bubble curve hear and there. just simples should help you with that stuff. pz

ok sorry. i didn't mean like do times new roman fora year. just like start out with that and once your gettin that pretty clean THEN start adding lttle tweaks. just like bending a letter here and there
Vaipa, look bro, your hearts in the right place and I get where youre coming from. They're not telling you to sit there and do blockbusters and bubble letters all day. just start out with basic simple letters, they dont have to be block or anything. Like, S Y K the add little tweaks and a lil style to them, then push your tweaked letters in, SYK then you can adjust the piece, connect it, add all the stylistics you want and shit. At least thats how I was taught to do it by those who taught me. Thats just my opinon / advice, do what you do. I hope something in there helped. Peas.
