Anyone here make their own beer? I do. It's cheap, easy, and fucking good if you take a little time and do it right.
yeh it just makes you different... and it is the number one... I use 91 and just put the numbers after my handy. cope2, can2, totem2, space3... I cant think of any people who use 'one' who you'd of heard of.
ive seen one really good wirter around my area, he writes dyne everywhere then out of the blue i saw one of his that said dyneone in a few places whereas most of his tags were dyne, i knew it was him same handy and stuff. another guy did the same, he just wasnt a very good wirter he got up well tho.

It's goddamn cheap. To get started it's a little pricey but still worth it. I got my starting kit which had everything you needed to make a batch of beer except for bottles and water (ie. 1 kg sugar, can of extract, barrel, air lock, barrel tap, sanitiser, bottle capper, bottle caps, hydrometer) All that stuff cost me about 70 NZD (about 45 USD), and that made 23 L of beer which I think is about 5 gallons. Which is still not a bad price. After that it costs me about $20 to make 23 L, and that's making pretty good beer, I can't even really get shit beer for that cheap. The biggest tip I could give anyone who starting brewing is to sanitise everything well. It's annoying sitting around for half an hour while it sanitises but it makes the beer so much better. And another thing to remember is brewing is pretty much as hard as you make it. It all sounds pretty confusing at first but it can be really simple. At it's easiest all you have to do is: 1. Clean your barrel. 2. Open the can of extract and pour it in. 3. Top up with water and 1 kg of sugar. 4. Seal the barrel and let it sit for about a week or so. 5. Bottle your beer, with a little sugar in each bottle, let the bottles sit for about two weeks. And that's really it. It takes a while to get your first brew to the drinking stage but if you keep doing it you end up with a steady supply of booze.

Damn you gave us a tutorial on how to make beer, so it takes like a month to get the beer to drinking standard .
Haha, I could give you a much more detailed tutorial It only takes a week if you like drinking un-fizzy beer. But yeah a month, but if you start another brew as soon as you bottle the first one and then keep doing it like that, trust me, you end up with a shit load of booze. I have like 300 or so 350mL bottles of booze at my house. Made up of, Ale, pilsner, two different lagers, hard cider and alcoholic ginger beer. I also have about 12L of homebrew spirit at 40%, including tequila, lemoncello, apple schnapps, bourbon, vodka, gin. Homebrewing is like a fuckin addiction for me, I think I need some help. I don't even really drink that much, I just enjoy making the stuff haha. If anyone wants a recipe for hardcider that's pretty easy to make drop me a PM, you just make it in coke bottles. Turns out pretty good if you just wanna make some cheap booze to get drunk on, still takes a few weeks for it to be finished though.
Haha, I really need to throw a party or something. Lucky it gets better with age (well, to a point anyways) and doesn't go off.
