it's no logical at all, but the general public would rather see the cops doing something rather than not seeing them anywhere..and what better way to show the public you're doing something than to go after the easiest targets...it's so much more work to catch someone doing a robbery or car jacking shit, chances are it's only going to happen one time by that person in a night, when it comes to writers, there's a huge chance that person is going to be out for hours doing the same thing over and over again in a specific area...see how that works? doesn't matter if the tax dollars are being wasted on petty shit, as long as the public sees something happening, they'll start to forget that nothing is being done about the gun crimes and serious issues our city is having with crystal meth and other types of wonderful destruction. if there was a website where crackheads and crack dealers got together and talked about where they were going to be meeting up and how they were going to do their shit, the cops would be all over it... crackdens.com anyone? i know that no one really listens when something important is said, but hopefully these past 2 rants will drive into the heads of a couple of you and make you realize some shit about what you're doing.
