to get drips with a flowpen are you supposed to push down the pump system while you write or just get the nib real juicy? I just got one and have only done like 2 tags with it, and it didnt drip at all, so i was just wondering if im missing out on a piece of information .
Otr markers work. I like em. im not gonna hate. you gotta know how to get those good strokes with it. which isnt hard. I wish i had the markers i see Oclock use though. He always has the like, perfect sized markers.
ive had my flowpen for a long ass time when you want drips you push the pump system a couple times to get the drips its hard to keep it pressed the whole time, and you cant do it quick that way
speaking of flowpens, what can i refill mine with besides the stock otr ink? im going to just try a bunch of things but i dont feel like clogging or corroding anything, i dont want to drop 5$ for another one, haha
no but i mean like can i fill it with enamel paints and stuff because i doubt it. i'll just have to try i guess, haha.
its a valid question. if its a flopen, its alcohol based ink. so you can refill it with any alcohol based ink, and the first few times you pump it you will get swirly colors in your lines depending on original color/new color, eventually it will wash all of the original color out. you can refill it with paint too, if its thin enough to flow, BUT you will need a brand new nib. stick with ink. inks you could use: grog nero rasco candy carbon paper homemade ink flopen or h2b inks doemdirty inside job omega garvey lots more i cant think of some of them arent alcohol based, but will still work. basically any thin ink that you dont have to shake.
In my experience they arent that great, i always find they give crap coverage the flow of the paint is poor. Personally i would recomend that you stick with ink, ink markers have always given me thick full lines that are permanent and ghost when buffed. Thats just my 2 cents, other people may have differing opinions. may spelling isn't so great nowadays sorry.
yeah. only disadvantage of ink is that you cant get any bright colours - only dark green, red, black etc. but i spose you can just paint and slap tag on dark surfaces...
