i know there are certain shops whose age restriction is 18, like davinci artist supply on 21st between 6th and 7th....they sell montana. so if you feel like spending 8 or 9 bucks a can there, you can.

however i do not know if its legal to carry caps and ink and whatnot on you if you are under 18.....if you are 21 then its fine, you cant get busted for carrying something thats legal, and that a store legally sells.

"Metro Briefing | New York: Manhattan: Mayor Questions Graffiti Law

By DIANE CARDWELL (NYT); COMPILED BY JOHN SULLIVAN
    Published: May 3, 2006
Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg questioned yesterday whether an anti-graffiti measure, adopted last year, passed First Amendment muster. A federal judge issued a preliminary injunction on Monday barring the city from enforcing part of it. ''I've always wondered whether it was constitutional, the law that was passed,'' Mr. Bloomberg said. A group of young artists have sued the city over the law, which bans people aged 18, 19 and 20 from possessing items like aerosol spray paint, broad-tipped indelible markers and etching acid. The ruling on Monday prevents the city from enforcing the ban on paint and markers while the lawsuit progresses. The judge stayed his decision while the city appeals. DIANE CARDWELL (NYT) "

hmm.... well it dosen't seem to be stoping them at all.
inless all writers in nyc are over 21 witch i doubt
it could be good tho, less gay shit because people would actully have 2 sketch for along ass time before they start putting out there stuff ;)
but again i doubt it holds back younger writers from painting

never ben new york but i always wanted to
