The way your old man did the architecture in the medieval picture is awesome, but the people in the castle door leave much to be desired the dynamic background and foreground make those little characters look bland and unfulfilled.

The work with the water and the cliff is beautiful, but I'm not quite sure as to what that white stuff on the rock formation is. Snow? Water foam? There is no clear indication as to what that is, still a nice piece though.

Then the faces are also, well, they're quite amateur about it to be frank.
Some of them show understanding of how the face looks and some look like a child's representation more than an adults.

I still got to give your Dad some props on his work with the first and second pics though.
Not really graff work but still impressive.

 

its that the faces look crooked, the mouths are unshaped. they look like a realism drawing turned character. which gives it that amature look. agreed, the arcetecture is incedible, but the rst of them give off that slant. not a fan
