india ink is dirty water not worth your time rack some leather dye [/b][/quote] India ink is OK but DOES NOT stain. If you get black speedball india ink it is fully weather proof, but not buff proof. I use india ink to cut my woodstain, because the india ink is really opaque and won't fade, and the woodstain does all the staining.. I don't get why people say india ink is dirty water, It's really opaque.. Just doesn't stain what so ever. India ink alone is better than thinned latex. acrylic paint is not permanent, it's a water based paint, so basicly your using something thats only good to cut ink with, with something thats even worse..
hey kosr. have you tried mixing leather dye with ur woodstain to make it darker??? my woodstain already is like pitch black dark but im wondering if the leather dye will make it opaque? i added a tiny bit of brake fluid made it scar harder and its made it darker. so would the leather dye make it darker then wat it is.
made this the other day. fucking drippy as [Broken External Image]:http://img157.imageshack.us/img157/6862/marker1bs0.th.jpg [Broken External Image]:http://img157.imageshack.us/img157/125/marker2hc8.th.jpg jst get an empty crayola stamper marker thing. and take out the nib and i used some shit off a mousepad and rolled it up and stuck it in their and go tweezers and pulled it thru the other side and u refill from the end of it. i poured in some woodstain and then put some tape around the top bit so it wont leak but it leaks a bit. drips heaps lads. 600th post
Why do people like drippy tags? I can understand an occasional drip making it look sick, But when the whole thing is drippy... I dont know, It doesnt tickle my fancy. Just looks messy.
Here is a recipe for a drippy ass marker, so for the buddy who doesnt like drips..... fuck you. Go to Walmart or where ever and cop urself one of those squeeze glue pens, rack like 6 of em its not hard. go home and take out all the glue(MAKE SURE U GET OUT ALL THE FUCKING GLUE!!!!!) makins sure it doesnt touch the nub cuz then the nib will be fucked. the nib has a plastic part and a fabric part, take the 2 parts apart and the plastic thing will havestraight pieces going into the center of it (its circle-shaped). break them off and put the fabric part back onthere should be a little hole where the plastic shit u ripped off used to be, stuff it with some sort of felt, but stuff it good and a little krazy glue doesnt hurt. put wut ever ink or paint u want into it (I got a phat new ink i jst made kickin in myne) and then screw the nib on and then your good to go, the more u squeeze the more it drips
i made a ghetto krink marker sorta like that... i just cit off the part with the small threads all together, filled it with some ghetto krink, added a small marble, superglued some rolled up eraser felt, and bam, i had a nice clean krink marker, about the size of an otr. but circular
heres a mop I found to be alot like a kiwi one of these: [Broken External Image]:http://www.disposablecamerashop.co.uk/img/prod_img/party/p91365.jpg the nib's a circular sponge and has a hole rite in the middle. the nib has been nice and durable unlike bingo dabbers so far. the tube's squeezable and there too easy to rack from dollar stores. with ghetto krink: View attachment 241139
i got one of those but mines is sorta different ...mines is called "window chalk" so i guess its legal since it isnt paint....and they have so many different colors....they even have pink
Bad or good idea to refill a marker with Primer, just pure white house paint. I think it would be good becuase it would be extremly hard to delete. if bad idea, why?
bad idea...because you will have to put so much paint thinner in it and it will leave streaks either way
