markers are a bitch to shade with. i needa work on coloring my characs like mad. i dont really wanna ruin any of my characs that i like by doing a shitty job coloring so right now i been practicing on basic shapes and shit until i feel i'm good enough to color 'em. wow seems like there's so much i needa work on lately lol. o well...that's the only way to get good right.

Overall, the piece is pretty disgusting.. but the throwups are a good start.

BFC: It won't be hard, I'll do it the same way I did this one. I'll be using acrylic, easier to cover mistakes

Atesk: If you post your shit up here, then you can always print out a copy of it right? And because it's black and white you can print as many of the same characters to practise on, unless you run out of paper. Then it just sucks to be you But try to practise like that. Another tip is to use a regular lead pencil.

That's kind of how I practised... Once you got your shades down, THEN you move to colour.
If you're having troube blending, just remember the lightest colour goes on the bottom. Don't press too hard or the darker colour won't really blend. Then with the same amount of pressure, apply the darker hue. If you're using three hues don't move on to the third one yet. Right in the middle of where you started to blend the first two hues, take the lighter colour and press harder to fully blend. Etc etc.

Stem: Although I sincerely adore that old style, your S needs to be work on make sure that both sides of the letter are uniform and parallel. No bumps if hte other side doesn't have one. BE SYMETRICAL! Everyone loves symetry Now, the i is hard to dress up, i just gave up on it back when I was feliks. So I can't help you there. The n, again, symmetry. The e is sexy I like the way it looks but make the eye of the e like half a pie. not 3/4s.

pesk-like the first sketch, jus clean it up a little and maybe add a drop shadow and it should be good, not really likin the throwie but then again I really don't know anything about throwies so my opinion doesn't really count lol.

PESK - 3ds got a few quirks on the simple, really feelin the new k in the throw but i liked the old e alot better.
