those packages on the no. 9's look like they're for girls. i'm flat broke, yesterday i was real hard up for a smoke. i only had 2.5 all day. the other half i saved for when i woke up today. buuuuuuut, this awesome ass lady i know heard of my plight and hooked me up with some cigarettes. and nicoteen is nicoteen. they're usa gold light 100's and beggard can't be choosers. i'm not a fan of lights or hundreds, but i am a fan of awesome people giving me things. i had bummed 2 off her last week and she gave me like 3 extra for the road so i brought her in a pack of her brand. i love unexpected generosity. what's your brand, ume?

i had a pack of dumauriers. they weren't the perfectly rectangular boxes i'm used to, they had pointy bevels on the sides. 25 to a pack, and the foil was in 2 parts which makes a lot of sense. they had the french on one side, english on the other (<3) and a picture of a diseased brain with the message that cigarette smoking causes strokes. priceless =] didn't deter me any. i smoked every last one of those sonofabitches.
