nick - the krylon piece is better. and now what you need to do is take what you learned from that and go back to something easier and your work will progress a lot. 1 step forward 1 step back and that will make you a lot better because you learn from doing more advanced shit, so your simples will be better. and i think you should pay less attention to fills. if you can have hot shit just in pencil just imagine it in ink.

I hope your not actually trying now... you didnt even shade "inside the lines" your letter structure is off, and you dont listen to anyone when they say go simple...as in straight up and down letters like you did when you were being a smart ass. Do that same thing with 2 lines instead of one, until you can get them straight and proportioned.
