i think that it has nothing to do with your passion to do graffiti after a while you just cant get the level of ups you once did and for that matter you dont really want to. the thing these little ones dont get it as you get older you have more to loose. when i was 15 i didnt give a fuck if i got arrested i would just run away and i didnt matter if they got me or not. now that im older, and wiser i have to say, i cant afford ot get caught. if i loose my liscence or if i get a permanent reord for vandalism i wont have my job or ever be able to travel to the places i want to. so before you lip us for not getting up in the streets as much ask yourself do i even have my own vehical and do i even know what credit payments are?
i was havin this discussion at work today... i hired this new kid that is one of the local new jacks... in my opinion he will fall off within a yr or 2... anyways i definately dont get up naywhere near as much as i used to or would really like to but i do still get up... i still show the kids whos boss...with all i got to lose its a lil more risky these days... but being older has its advantages... cops dont look at you as being as suspicious as if you were some 15 yr old.....
i've been at school for 13 days straight. i usually take a day off.... but i got presentations and shit coming up at conferences. fuckin sucks. but i gotta do what i gotta do.... and i have about 40 first year geography assignments to mark about environmental change. BOOO. not finding time to get groceries. let alone write. i drop a sketch now and then before i catch some sleep.
Then again, there's another way to look at this... Technically, as you get older, it's easier to get up.. Like my mans said, cops suspect you less. I like to dress like a tourist and carry a camera and shopping bag when I sticker. Plus, I don't have to sneak out, I don't have to use a small allowance for supplies, and I don't have to explain shit to my parents. I can cook wheatpaste in my boxers at 1 in the morning and I have the capability of travelling long distances for spots. ...Damnit! I got it good. :blink: The only thing stopping old fucks is mental oldness?...
i'd also like to add, when old fucks do go out, they're putting up shit that looks good (probably) so at least its quailty work when the chance happens
