hey I just got some krylon x-treme colors paints - which are basically metalisized colors but am having difficulty finding the proper cap in my stock. anyone ever use this shit and have some answers.
probly any cap it might not fit perfect though kuz krylon minis work for most caps but dont fit perfect either
i use a bent paper clip, i heat it up and put it in the hole... hmmm [/b][/quote] dude, first off bro, cleaning a tip with a paper clip is the not the way to go, that would fuck up the lil spray system inside which will make your caps spit paint out like a fatcap with uneven sloppy edges. BEST thing to do to stop ur caps from cloggin(especially ur thins cuz it happens pretty quick)in my opinion, is to take off the capfrom the can and blow into the bottom, i kno it can be a bit messy but it actually works and saves me the trouble of lookin through a big bag of tips for another...
just hold the can upside dwn and push the cap in ... youll loose a little pressure but it will clear the cap.
best female caps are from tins of Glen20 cleaner. white cap with red dot, similar to a tuxan but female and comes out a little fatter. fucking ace for outlines and fills arent too much of a bitch.
question what cap and can combo can we do this effect? soft fat hollow line styles! As far as I know: Silver fat/ultra fat [silver cap] *not german level4 Gold cap german level 5 on spanish mtn cans NY fat on mtn cans (the hollow area is a bit smaller) any more combos? refer: www.flickr.com/photos/capish/28146593/ and www.flickr.com/photos/capish/12009999/
i know for sure, thats an ny fat, on american brand paint, - krylon most likely, it gets a hollow hard edge fat line. happy days.
thanks for the info btw do you know how can we achieve "hard edge fat line" with soft hollow area inside with spanish mtn or german montana? cheers
Does anyone know if caps that work on standard Krylon also work on Krylon Short Cuts? Those are the little shorty cans of krylon. Im just wondering if they work the same or if for some reason some caps dont work.
almost everycap will fit on short cuts, just somehow not 100% right. and i have no clue about how to get hollow lines on montana, try getting an ny fat and making the hole bigger or cutting the cap.
i think they are talking about flaring....do people really come on here and try to learn how to write...ahaha
anyone tried ghost caps, i went round with one last weekend with one and theyre pretty nice, i got about 5-6 finger widths out of em.
