I haven't upped anything in a while, so heres some dope ish i just picked up.

a couple week back i went to a small scribble jam pre-show to promote the actual scribble jam, and for the main act, 2 cats show up... turns out to be zeph and azeem. some real underground shit from the bay, good example of bay area UGHH. :]
they fuckin rocked it, so i picked up azeems album from like, 2001 called craft classic. its so dope, amazing beats from zeph and other dj's, and ill poetical lyrics n ish. cop it! i want to buy the new zeph and azeem album that just came out, when i do, ill up that. because it still sounds like its from the 90s, some good classics :]
i picked up their mixtape as well, ill up that some other time.

Hanger 18 is like a quicker, more upbeat atmosphere, without slugs style haha. deffinatly a good example of def jux' records style as a whole between all their artists. its got that old school beat flavor, with new school attitude and ill beats.
im not a fan of most the artists on def jux (besides cage :] , but this albums got a good feel. makes my head nod for sure.
