The show was ill, but the place turned into a fucking mess due to the rain... And it didnt help that the 2 stage setup was the stupidest layout i have ever seen,, basically you had to choose which show you wanted to see, the paid dues stage or the main stage. As much as i wanted to see murs and doom, i had to miss out because once at the main stage, thousands of people, a full permiter fence with 2 little shit passages with long ass lines for thru traffic, short intervals between sets and a football field of mud 5 inches deep kept me by the main stage from the start. You know shit was bad cuz after a sick rage encore, and the entire crowd went to exit, they entered the rediculous mud pit to make their way towards the exit that hardly existed and shit was completely jammed up, like the parkway after a 4 car pileup, so everyone started scaling the fences and groups of pissed off people started ripping the fences down, as security watched too afraid to say anything because they knew how retarted the setup was to begin with. and than, just when you think you made it thru hell, you meet up with all your muddy comrades at the shuttle pickup point, where 80% of the attendees stand waiting for a shuttle with a capacity of 70. they had a couple going but still, shit was beat after all that. or maybe i was just pissed off cuz i had to stand in the rain for a while. http://youtube.com/watch?v=UxWgRY1I_SI [1:56].. lulz...
concert was awsome for sure! me and the homies were some of the firsts to jump the barricade between main stage area and that boxed in middle area (pointless area) dope concert all around. rain made it even cooler i think. concerts in rain are always awsome.....just like ozzfest like 3 years ago when we treated the PNC arts center with the mud war...........
