Did anyone go to the reading festival? I went and it was amazing. Also I noticed there was at least one crew their because they did a few pieces on a fence in orange camp and they really bombed the local area.

A few tags popped up over the place but nothing as noticeable than the crew that was there. The only one I can remember (I was constantly wasted) was seeing TPK tagged in a lot of places.

Also did any of you guys go to NASS this year? I went around at the end of the Sunday when everyone had left after the BMX finals and took pictures of all the graffiti and tags that popped up over the weekend. Il post them if anyone wants.

I have been talking to an organizer of the reading festival and she is taking the idea of a graffiti battle, work shops and mural pretty seriously!:)

Oh and whoever did these tags at NASS:

reading was so sick, police couldn't do shit about anything heheh, was nice having such an easy supply of anything you wanted there, but it also meant our coolboxes (FULL OF ALL OUR FUCKIN BACON AND SAN MIGUEL) got jacked...

there were bare london writers there too i swear, saw save, osne and other MZ bombs around about (brown and purple camp ;))

i'm definitely gonna go next year, and that graff battle thing sounds sick try an convince em. that was my first time and i know so much stuff i'm gonna bring next year, paint is on the list (as well as a flag!)

i'll take some pictures this weekend get this thread goin again since it's kinda slowed down.

A few more pictures, the rest isn't all that good but its more the fact that this was pretty much what every surface was over night! Strange thing is, I didn't see a single writer in action!

I actually go there for the riding but I might take a few cans up next year if its on again. They might not run it again because there have been riots two years in a row when it has been at bath and west. http://youtube.com/watch?v=Uf5_19HJYmA

The riot was great fun by the way!

Yeah I brought paint with me this year but ended up leaving it in the car over the river near white after I nearly got caught on the way up (about 4am) and my mate flipped out on me over the fact that it was his car. By the time I decided to go get my paint the line to get over the river was about an hour and a half.

There were a few simple pieces on the fence in orange camp, I made a point of trying to remember them but I spent the weekend so drunk and stoned that I forgot.

Next year I'm deficiently taking plenty of paint as well as a few oz's of weed, people were buying for £10 a gram!

I went into the town on Sunday afternoon and the tags were everywhere! +1 to the crew who did all that!

I'm going to try keep in contact with the organizer about a graffiti battle, sounds like a really good idea I know they did it at NASS a few years back but I'm not sure how successful it was. If anyone has any tips on how to get one organized and people to contact let me know and il pass them on.

Because I tend to keep my writing to myself and stay out of the scene I'm not sure who to talk to in terms of organizers, judges and all that stuff. Still its a year away yet! I'm still pretty toy so I don't think I will be taking part but it would be great to watch and talk with other writers.

yeah, the ferry over seemed a bit fuckin long, but i spose it's pretty much the way if you wanna bring alot of anything in... we went by train and there were police with sniffer dogs

thing is about the graff battle thing is that i think people wouldn't wanna spend time on it unless it's well early in the morning or after 12 - me and most of our mates woke up at 9, got fucked and went in to the stages and didn't leave until the end so I dunno when you'd do it
