ive never even heard of mente till you posted that and i looked him up. from the few photos i saw, he was way more advanced than me, and really our shit doesnt look anything alike. its almost impossible to start up without being called out for biting. all the new stuff coming up now is so modern, technical and complicated, i however have a soft spot for the simpler more oldschool stuff with really bright colors, and theres only so many ways to twist those letters without it turning out like shit. yeah some stuff is going to look similar to someone elses stuff, but its pretty obvious i created all of those letters on my own when they all have the same kind of style and are blended together.
i duno, mente pretty damn up in the game. but i no what you mean, now adays it is almost impossible not to bite. if you make a letter, chances are there is another leter EXACTLY like it or similar to it. so unless you took the letter directly from someone elses art and it didnt coincidentally look like someone elses, its kinda hard to call out bites and being right...but enough of this shit, this threads for art, post some pics.
people need to know the difference between, being influenced by someone and staight up biting. the only thing that looks similar in your guys's stuff is the way you outline and maybe some of the add ons. but fuck what people say to you on the internet. tools like whahappen sit at their computer and postwhore all day. do your thang man and dont listen to the haters.
