actually yea. everybody did. he never sold a piece until he died. but i dont think it was BECAUSE he looked like shit. It's always about the art though.
most great artists wernt appreciated in their day. so maybe thats how it will be for us too. maybe we will be apreciated in the future for making great work nobody knew was great.
I see where some people would think this is a dumb question. But I see where dude's coming from. Like when you hear a music artist, and you picture him/her in your head and you're all set on it.. then you see them and its like... damn.. that just don't seem right. I know the feeling. But you really can't let that kind of shit effect how you feel about his/her work, cause in the long run, you'll have a picture of his bomb/peice in your black book, not his face. ya dig?

i mean its obviously the artist.. what kind of question is this.. the radio dj thing is so valid. radio djs voice often sound totally different than youd expect him to look like and etc. its the art. not the artist. i like cool looking people though.
an Artist should obvioulsy be judged by there work, as for me, I'm probably pug ugly compared to people XD because people say I look diffrent then what they thought.
a writers not supposed to look like anything just how they where born but what does it matter anyway unless your some sort af a gay fashon critik who would stop liking the writer because they dont look as u pictured them its the art that counts not the persons looks

i just find it weird when i see some shit thats like fucking amazing then see the person who did it i dont lose respect or anything or not like the shit less or anything just it is weird because i doesnt seem that they should look that way. like when i saw revok he looked COMPLETEY diffrent from what i thought but i still love his shit
