I take photos of what I find interesting. A warehouse is a warehouse, most look similar on the outside. I like things that tell a story, things that make you wonder...
hey indeed one more question. On pic number 9, how is it an abandoned building has light, your city pay for the power in their abandoned building? as the thread dies.....
i take it you just want somewhere abandoned to paint because your to pussy to actually go paint on the streets.....but the reason they are taking your so called 'arty photos' is because when you go explore you take pictures that show how interesting the building is and all the odd bits people have forgotten.....
i dont know who the taking it to the streets comment was meant for but when i used to explore it was mostly about the archetecture aspect of it. I was in cad and drafting through juniour high, high school, and a little in college. Not to paint, So thats what i wanted to know about... i geuss

This is one of the best topics going on this site. A lot of sick pictures... an err a lot of freaky/weird/scary pictures.
im going St Ebba's which is an old mental asylum/hospital and theres still live buildings around it....and the guy im going with says that patients walk around freely and shit and its so odd watching em.....like they run around stop stare at you then run off again but the odd thing is he said there happy being in care....like you see them knock on the door to be let back in by the nurses etc....also at hellingly we nearly got attacked by a patient....theres still a part of the hospital about 200m away in use....that part of the hospital is used for criminals to determine weither the patients are fit to stand trial for murder etc...and one got out and started chasing us.....
I gotta disagree. I like the "art type" pictures. I think indeed should keep up with them. Looks amazing. No beef man!!! Just saying. Anyway a lot of amazing pictures in this thread. Im going out next week to get some.
