you can enhance that recipie and make it semi decent by adding quite a bit of gloss to the mixture.. i would never do this.. but i had done when i was starting off.. and its a great mop filler which seems to be on tap. 4/7 liquid shoe polish 1/7 gloss like krylon gloss, or ceramic gloss. (polyurethene wont work for this, the paraphin in the shoe polish is too waxy, and theres not enough alcohol) 1/7 alcohol 91%+ then add a few drops of break fluid and to make it darker.. add some pen ink sticks in with it.
