skateboarding has been and will always be my one love(along with art). but in the past few years Ive slowed down a shit load(working full time, college(imma dropout), ect.) now I just go skate whenever the weather is nice enough.. but I have a prodigy my little brother. he started back when I was in my prime and now he has surpassed me by a shitload and Im positive that in a few years hell be sponsered by atleast a local company, because of this everytime I skate with him I try and push him farther then he thinks hes capable of and he succeeds. here is a little vid of my bro ollieing this 10 stair from last year(around may) http://s267.photobucket.com/albums/ii316/get_bltzd/?action=view¤t=babybrown10stair.flv and now hes already backside fliped it, and done/found shit Ive never thought of. hold on the link didnt work Im fixing it be patient
wow i bin sjatin 4 2 weeks and i learned how to ollie and ollie fakie. did u have anyine showin u or did u just have to teach urself?
ive been skating for like the past 3 years, i think im decent... biggest set- 5 best trick- halfcab late piv. orrr fakie bigflips. setup-- darkstar[adam dyet armor light.]] krux barletta trucks. autobahn wheels[[52s]] bones swiss bearings. shoe of choice-- globe appleyards or fallen rippers.
i used to skateboard everyday like 6 or 7 years ago but just stopped one day. my brother got into it and gave me his old setup. i feel like an old man trying to skate with 10 year old prodigys.
I used to skate like all the time but all the sudden less then a month ago the skate just went out of me. I'm not motivated to skate anymore and I get bored so fast. This happen to anyone else? I will probably just take a break from skating for a month or two then get back to it...
skating for 5 years when it wasnt a trend current set up blank 7.5 krux low hubba wheels 55mm black magic red bones shoes emericas renloyds filming set up trv900 mk1 two eight hour batts bescor 20/40 mad tapes
been skating since i was 12 (im 16 now) its like second nature to me and the one thing i would choose over graffiti my best trick is a nollie 360 flip biggest set is 11 if there wasnt skating or graffiti in the world i may not be here right now
an 11? i rember nollie heel fliping a 11 no joke but hand rails are played out! fuck them onebroken ankle on fractured ankle(left) and broken elbow whats the injury list on b/s?
word, skating is the only thing i'm interested in more than graff. i actually did an eleven on christmas, i'm thinking about going back and 180'ing it. i've 180'ed a big nine, so the smallish 11 shouldn't be too bad. also, i've been skating wider boards more recently because they take like 5x longer to break. EDIT: as far as injuries go, i've been pretty lucky. i've sprained my left ankle suuuuper badly, and my right one sort of badly a few times. also, i've broken both wrists. but other than that, it's just mostly heel/palm bruises and some gnarly gashes.
ive benn skateing for a year and a half ive stopped so many times all i can do is an ollie i can flip a heel flip but not land it i was hoping that me and my friend could skate all summer and spring break but hes moving thats my 4th friend that moved now i have none left..im really gonna need graffiti this year i love it so much i would mary it if i could
yeah man i hear you skating everywhere was awsome hitting up all the spots on the way to another spot, i still skate to paint spots haha
