he uses a shitty white primer that he puts a super thin coat on, expecialy his Oink ink so it seems so "good" yet its not, because he knows mostly toys watch all those vids on youtube.(not calling you a toy lol) zombie ink looks like it would fade to me, i havent tried it... dont plan on it... maybe mix the shit with other inks when your bored. but if you go on oink, there hookin you up mad now. there selling buncha (empty)mops and inks together mad cheap. i might get some Do Em Dirty Outdoorsmen with a NYC Mop just cause its cheap... Check the shit out
Yeah, speaking of that, someone was telling me the other day how they saw the JUNOBO stuff or w/e and thought it was tight as shit. I used to use that stuff, then found if I mixed any regular oil paint(like artist paint, not bucket) with water, it was basically the same shit... Maybe Im wrong? But they both looked the same and buffed off just as easy.
no man, you're wrong. oil paint will not mix with water. if you stir it enough it might be mixed through each other but it will still be gluggy as fuckk ink thread.
Geski's Mop *Don't over fill or the kinder lid will not be able to seal it, just look at mine in the pictures* This is a tutorial for building a reusable INK ONLY mop. First off your going to need to get a few things together. Go get... -A kinder suprise -A few BOTTLES of acrylic paint -A new sponge -Tough fabric (This is for the nib so choose accordingly, it should be thin though) -A rubber spacer that will fit over the neck of the acrylic bottle. (mines for a garden hose) -A sealable container to keep some of the acrylic, no need to waste paint. Thats for the mop, the other things you'll likely need... -A sharp, pointy, and narrow knife -Scissors -A pencil -A zip lock bag to keep the mop in -The ability to use your hands in conjunction with your brain and... well read the Tut before you start. Step One Take off the screw top of the acrylic bottle you have selected and empty The contents into a container. Add a little water and stir, congradulations you have some pretty mop paint for another project. Clean the bottle and the cap. Eat your kinder suprise and don't get distracted by the dope toy inside. Looking at this picture you can see what your going to do in the next few steps. This cap will be used to hold your nib in place and make a leak proof seal around the neck. [Broken External Image]:http://img70.imageshack.us/img70/6303/dsc0005nc6.jpg Break off the flip top. Look inside the cap, there is a circle, trace that circle and cut it out using a poking method. [Broken External Image]:http://img177.imageshack.us/img177/2005/dsc0009rc7.jpg [Broken External Image]:http://img177.imageshack.us/img177/4228/dsc0010uu5.jpg You will need to smooth out the edge now, as it is likely jagged. Step Three Get your sponge and fabric, cut a small rectangle of each as seen in the picture. [Broken External Image]:http://img513.imageshack.us/img513/4881/dsc0007mn9.jpg [Broken External Image]:http://img410.imageshack.us/img410/8973/dsc0008kq9.jpg (pictures were taken in no specific order.) Now this part is tricky, and is a art form in itself. You will need to assemble the nib as seen. Take a few dry runs with the mop to get this down, its by far the most tricky part. [Broken External Image]:http://img410.imageshack.us/img410/1759/dsc0013et5.jpg [Broken External Image]:http://img299.imageshack.us/img299/5130/dsc0014aa8.jpg [Broken External Image]:http://img299.imageshack.us/img299/9493/dsc0015th4.jpg You want the sponge and fabric to be against the sides of the cap, not in the middle. When you put the cap on you force it on, compressing the sponge and fabric, holding it in place. If its in the middle it comes unlodged and you will have problems. Step Four You should now have forced that nib+cap onto your mop, it will have taken force to get it down so the threads would catch. [Broken External Image]:http://img142.imageshack.us/img142/2830/dsc0017qe2.jpg [Broken External Image]:http://img142.imageshack.us/img142/2825/dsc0018mq1.jpg You haven't practiced making the nib enough yet, take off the cap and put the rubber spacer on the neck of the bottle. As seen on the mop on the right. Then put the cap and nib back on. All you do now is slap the larger half of the kinder egg on top to form a sealed lid with the spacer. As stated at the start, only fill this mop about 6/8ths of the way up. If you fill it to much it likely will leak with gentle pressure. (through the nib, not the neck or bottle) Anyways this is my regular mop, easy to take care off and easy to replace parts, and you don't toss it when its empty.
I did not figure how to close the bottle after I cut the shit out... Good idea with the kinder surprise... btw: do NOT add more than 30% water to the acrylics!
Exacto knife and a steady hand or use just some sharp object with that you can poke... And no man, not more than 30% water Because: Acrylic paint will NOT form a stable film of paint if it has been diluted with more than 30% of water.. if you want to know more about acrylics go to the Chemistry 101 thread in the toy section... It is a very good read btw
I cut the hole in the lid in about 30 seconds, just take the tip of a knife and punch a bunch of little holes all around the circle, the hit it with a screwdriver if its still holding on tight enough you cant just push it. After you pack the nib you have to push the lid straight down, then start turning it. It likely wont take the first time so unscrew, lift and then push down again and turn. When it catches keep on turning it until its nice and tight to the rubber spacer. Hope you guys get yours up and working, feel free to change the design up to better suit you. If someone figures out how to make this design work with paint PM me, It would be much appreciated.
the blue sponge is why the paint won't flow find something else to hold the nib up something farrrrrr less dense then a sponge perhaps more fabric??
I haven't found anything that works as well as the sponge, without it the nib doesn't stay puffed up enough to write with. Goes flacid when its saturated and droops below the cap.
i made two of these, fuckin shit leaked at the back haha, i think my gk was abit to thik to, ill make another but this time have my whole abit higher
